As we head into the holiday season, we’re taking a moment to reflect. This season, we are celebrating connection.
This year marks DigitalC’s 10th anniversary and one of the most consequential chapters in our history. In the two years since we launched the citywide initiative, we delivered results at scale, with urgency, and with residents at the center.
The numbers included within this newsletter demonstrate progress, but at the heart of this work is our purpose: we connect people.
This newsletter is about the people who make impact possible: residents, subscribers, and the team members, funders, partners, and supporters—past and present—whose belief, passion and effort have carried this work forward.
A milestone in connectivity: “It makes me feel good to know we have an internet company that actually cares.”
4,700+
Homes connected in 2025.
7,500+
Total homes connected since 2024.
18,000+
Residents now online across Cleveland.
At DigitalC, we are intentional about doing more than connecting people. We prioritize celebrating them.
Our subscribers are special, and we want them to feel that way. They gave us a chance as a new player in the high-speed home internet space. In a highly skeptical city, we know that kind of trust is earned, and we are grateful for it.
Throughout this year, we have shown that gratitude in many ways. Bringing local pizza, cookies, and even a band to liven up the block during our 6,000th install in Clark-Fulton. In Buckeye, presenting certificates and gifts of appreciation from partners like ILTHY. With sponsorship from partners like CTIconnect, fulfilling birthday and holiday wish lists for our final milestone subscriber in 2025.
We connect people. Sometimes to broadband. Sometimes to their passions, dignity, and the things that help them feel seen and supported. We invite you to join us in these moments and relive a few of the highlights below.
A milestone in digital skills training: “It connected me to real life."
10,000+
Residents trained in one year.
17,000+
Residents trained since January 2024.
20,000+
Digital skills sessions delivered since 2024.
This year, our Click training team—led by LaDonna Norris, Magda Ellis, and Caleb Hicks—joined forces with our training partners -Ashbury Senior Computer Community Center, Benjamin Rose, Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, Famicos Foundation, MetroHealth and Urban City Codes - to take digital skills trainings to Clevelanders.
They did not wait for people to come to them. They met residents where they were. From open houses and parent-teacher conferences, to back-to-school events, senior-housing communities, STEM fairs, computer rooms, libraries, and more—if you were moving through the city this year, chances are you encountered a digital-skills opportunity.
Recently, our team marked a major Click milestone at the Commercial Drone Workshop at Fairfax PNC Connection—delivering DigitalC’s 10,000th digital-skills training of 2025.
Residents were not only learning how to fly drones, but how training can open doors to new skills, certifications, and career paths. Some participants are now pursuing commercial drone licenses. As one participant shared, “I don’t know where it’s going to take me, but I won’t be left behind.”
What we are hearing about: The difference it makes for families.
“Thank you, DigitalC. I was paying hundreds of dollars for Wi-Fi for years. My service was shut off for months. My family can enjoy service that helps with our budget and the high costs of food and utilities. Michael, who installed everything, was exceptional. Great customer service.”
We maintain a 4.8 star rating as approach 200 public-facing Google reviews, and each one is a reminder that this work is not theoretical. It is personal. Not every review reflects perfection, but every one reflects progress—what is working, and where we still have opportunities to improve. Shout out to our field technicians for consistently delivering five-star service .
Behind DigitalC's progress is a partner ecosystem that works as hard as we do:
FIERCE NETWORK DIGITAL DIVIDE IMPACT AWARD This year, DigitalC’s work gained recognition well beyond Cleveland. Together with our partners at Tarana Wireless, DigitalC was named a winner of Fierce Network’s 2025 Digital Divide Impact Award, joining a global group of innovators shaping the future of connectivity.
